warrington clothesbank logoAbout the project...

The Clothes Bank Project aims to provide good second hand clothing for older/vulnerable people who find themselves in times of financial hardship.

The project is based at the Orford Community Hub and will be staffed by volunteers from Warrington Borough Council’s Supported Employment Service.

The Warrington Clothes Bank Project is a partnership between GGHT and Warrington Borough Council.  Start-up funding was provided by the National Lottery.

Access the service...

Older/vulnerable people will be able to access the project via one of the projects referral agencies, including GGHT, WBC, YMCA, Age UK and Access to Social Care.

Once a partner agency identifies an older/vulnerable adult they can request clothing via a voucher system.

This will then be processed by the project and a clothing bundle will be prepared and passed to the older/vulnerable adult via the referring agency.

Making a donation/becoming a volunteer...

If you would like to make a donation of new or nearly new second hand clothing or would like to volunteer to help out contact Lynn Dunning at WBC.
