New ways to pay your rent & new PayPoint rent payment card

We are making improvements to our payment systems and making it easier for you to manage your rent account and more convenient to make a payment.

From Monday 1 February 2021, you may notice a few changes, but don’t worry everything is safe and secure.  These changes include:

Online payment portal

From Monday 1 February 2021 if you visit the website to make an online payment, the portal may look a little different and will now say Torus, not AllPay. 

You will need to enter your 8-10 digit tenancy reference number (not your AllPay number). If you do not have this please contact 0800 678 1894 or email info@torus.co.uk.

Please note that you will no longer be able to use the AllPay App, but can pay online using the payment portal from this website.

 

Payzone to PayPoint – new rent payment card

We are swapping from Payzone to PayPoint.  If you pay your rent by payment card or cash, then you will be receiving a new Torus rent payment card in the *post.

From 1 February 2021 you will no longer be able to use your current GGHT rent payment card at the Payzone locations, but you can use your new card to make rent payments free of charge at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet.  With over 28,000 locations across the UK, you can pay your rent wherever you see these signs:

IMPORTANT: Please dispose of your old payment card and use the new card provided.  Payments made on the old rent card will not be credited to your rent account.


If you already pay by Direct Debit or standing order please continue to do so, but please keep the card in case you ever want to make a cash payment.

*We apologise that the letter with your new card was incorrectly dated, please be assured that the changes only come into effect on Monday 1 February 2021, any payment made on a old card before this date will be credited to your rent account.  There is no need to call to check. Thanks

Barcoded letters

Please note if you have an old barcoded rent letter, please do not use this as it will not work, use the new Torus rent payment card.

Rent barcoded letters issued after the 1 February 2021 will be valid to use. Using the barcode on your rent letter, you can make payments by cash or debit card at any Post Office or shop displaying the PayPoint logo.  If you don’t have a barcoded letter let us know and we’ll send you one.

NEW rent payment facility – recurring card payment

Torus is offering you an additional way to make a rent or arrears payment from a Debit card. 

A recurring card payment can be set up, with your permission, to take an agreed regular payment from your Debit card.  It is not the same as a standing order or Direct Debit, which use your current account details, not your card information. 

It is a flexible way to make a payment.  The payment will only be taken from the Debit card if the money is in the account to cover the payment.

The payment is taken automatically which will ensure that providing the money is in your account you will not fall behind with your rent payments.  

NEW automated telephone payments

From Monday 1 February 2021 you will be able make a credit or debit card payment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 0800 678 1894.

You will need to enter your 8-10 digit tenancy reference number (not your AllPay number)

If you are a Leaseholder, you will need to enter your leasehold number.

Using our automated system will take you through to our secure payment line, where you will be charged at 7p per minute for your call plus your phone company's access charge.
